After Maggid, the tone of the Seder shifts dramatically. This isn’t just a meal—it’s spiritual nourishment. Matzah, the centerpiece of this section, is not something to groan about; it’s a gift. As the Zohar calls it, “bread of healing,” matzah holds the power to cleanse our souls. When we eat it, we’re not just satisfying hunger—we’re nourishing our faith. Korech follows, combining matzah and maror, symbolizing the delicate balance between hope and bitterness in life. As we continue with the meal, bentching, and Hallel, we recognize that even this meal is part of our praise to Hashem, a continuation of the joy and gratitude we’ve built through Maggid. When we reach the Afikomen, we aren’t just finishing the Seder; we’re connecting with the hidden light of the universe, drawing in divine energy for the year ahead.
